Yulia Dwi Andriyanti

Yulia Dwi Andriyanti (she/they) is a queer Muslim woman and vegan. She has been actively involved in activism in Indonesia since 2008 that includes women rights, Lesbian Bisexual Trans FtM/Transman Intersex and Queer (LBTIQ) rights, and education for diverse youth on faith and sexuality. She co-founded several organizations, such as Youth Interfaith Forum on Sexuality (YIFoS), a youth organization aims to build peace within diverse faith and sexual identity in 2010 and Qbukatabu, a feminist-queer organisation, in 2017. In regional context, started in 2021, she is one of Advisors of the Rapid Response Grant-Making (RRG) of Urgent Action Fund for Women’s Human Rights, Asia and Pacific (UAF A&P). She completed her MA in Gender, Sexuality and the Body at University of Leeds, United Kingdom. After she resigned from her nine-to-five office works in 2019, she has decided to learn and practice self-care through journaling, drawing, digital storytelling, moving meditation with 5Rhythms tribe, and actively engage with Wellbeing, Self-Care and Integrated Security (WeSIS) community of practice.
